Committee
President
Kieran Agg
Hi, I’m a 3rd year DPhil student in Physical Chemistry. I joined the club at the beginning of my first year and have loved being part of the club since then! With the rest of the committee, I’ll be helping to organise a fun year of triathlon – training, racing and, of course, socialising. If you have any questions about the club, do come and say hi at a session or send me a message and I’ll do my best to help!
Secretary
Jess Critchlow
Hey! I’m Jess, a third year PPEist at Mansfield. I joined OUTriC as a fresher with a small background in swimming and a BIG love for the outdoors! I’ve discovered that the best way to enjoy the countryside is through swimming, cycling and running, so haven’t looked back since. I’m looking forward to another year of swim bike run fun as the secretary of the club! Definitely come and say hi at sessions or drop me an email if you have any questions.

Treasurer
Lucas Leung
Hello I am Lucas, a nerdy second-year DPhil student in Theoretical Physics. When I am not training and going on 100k rides I spend all my spare time doing string theory - I mean - stuff that nobody understands. I am unfortunately in charge of the club finances this year but luckily I am half a mathematician so let me know if the numbers don’t add up! I will be generally around all the time punching up codes and telling dad jokes at training sessions so feel free to contact me if you have questions!
Men's Captain
Nick Ryan
Hi! I’m Nick, a 2nd year maths DPhil student at Balliol. I was a footballer turned swimmer turned rower and now finally a triathlete. I’ve been at the club a year and have loved it here - a highlight being the Wednesday track sessions where everybody gets stuck in! I’m very happy to answer any questions so feel free to get in touch.

Women's Captain
Emily Alcock
Hi I'm Emily, a third year Law student at Oriel. I joined OUTriC as a fresher and have found the club enjoyable and supportive. The club covers a full range of abilities from those competing in their first triathlon to seasoned athletes. As Women's captain I'm always hoping to keep up the good vibes and be a friendly face around triathlon. If you have any questions or just want some advice feel free to reach out!!
Social Secretary
Oliver Elliot-Williams
Hi! I’m Ollie, a masters student studying religion at Mansfield. I joined OUTriC in the final year of my undergraduate and haven’t looked back since. I come from a rugby background and rowed for my college for two years before seeing sense and starting tri. My job is to organise club socials and keep us all young and fun. If you have any social-related questions you can contact me at:
oliver.elliot-williams@mansfield.ox.ac.uk
Novice & Welfare Officer
Sebastian Kaloš
Hi! I'm Seb and when I'm not cycling or running around, you'd find me in an underground laser lab with funny-looking eye-protecting goggles on. I'm working towards my DPhil in Atomic and Laser Physics, but mostly just looking for fun people to ride bikes with - the more the merrier! I'm the new Novice and Welfare officer, looking to introduce new people to the club. Don't hesitate to get in touch with any concerns regarding the club, training, or trouble with your laser pointer! Probably can't help with the latter but I'm always happy to chat and listen to whatever you may want to share.

Training Camp Officer
Arundhati Wuppalapati
Hi! I’m Arundhati, a second year PhD student at new college. I am a big fan of summer rides with cake, chill long adventure plods and happy swims all year round. I’m excited to be involved in planning training camp this year, having been on some pretty fun training camps in the past. Do feel free to get in touch if you’ve got any questions about triathlon, training camp, or life in general!

Co-Training Camp Officer
Bobby Clark
Hi everyone, I’m Bobby and I’m the co-training camp officer this year.
I come from a swimming and running background and only started cycling properly when I joined OUTriC. I got involved with the club at the start of my third year having taken a few years out from sport and found it a flexible and supportive environment to get back into training. I’ve enjoyed being a member of the club so much that even though I’ve graduated from the university now I’m staying involved as an alumni member!
Arundhati and I have some really exciting plans in the works for this year’s Easter training camp, keep an eye out for details later on in Michaelmas term and we hope lots of you will sign up!

Web Officer
Ben Fuller
Hi, I'm a second year biomedical science student at Corpus Christi. I joined OUTriC in fresher's week having done a few triathlons and had been training for around a year. I had some background in cross country and athletics when I was younger and have played football my whole life. You'll find me at most sessions (but not as many swim sessions as I should!) and I respond to the messages on the Instagram so don't be afraid to get in touch!
Sponsorship and Alumni Officer
Joel Quinn
Hey, I'm Joel, a 3rd year DPhil student in Clinical Neurosciences and the club's Sponsorship and Alumni Officer. My background is in hockey, but decided to give tri a go last year and have never looked back! Having not swam in over a decade and never ridden a road bike prior to joining, the club has been amazing in welcoming me in. Tri is a great sport and the club is full of wonderful people, so don't hesitate in giving it a go! If you ever have any questions about our sponsors, deals that are available through the club or anything else, feel free to contact me at joel.quinn@merton.ox.ac.uk
Kit Officer
Tom Meritt-Webster
Hey everyone, I’m Tom, the kit rep for this year! I’ve been part of the club for a year and joining has definitely been one of my best life choices so far at Oxford - the club is full of fun, enthusiastic and encouraging people! When I’m not out and about doing tri-things, I can be found thinking about fluid mechanics for my PhD. Kit is arguably the fourth discipline in triathlon and I’m always open to new kit ideas, so if have any specific kit you would like the club to look into just message or email me:
thomas.merritt-webster@univ.ox.ac.uk!
Events officer
Jack Bruford
I joined the club during my undergrad as a casual runner/cyclist. I have now been part of the club for 5 years and am a big fan of club rides, post-run college breakfasts (not the early start though), and can be occasionally found at the Friday swim. I have completed the grand total of one triathlon which shows my strong commitment to the club. I am an engineering DPhil student and am happy to give advice/help on any bike maintenance issues.
